We all know (well most anyway) that I am a die-hard Cowboys fan. After all, I am from Dallas, but I fell in love with a Washington boy and his team (Seahawks) quickly became my 2nd favorite. I don’t know if it was because I love my husband so much that I pretty much love everything he does or if it was pity on their part that made me love them.
They were the underdogs, but boy they had (have) heart and they sure proved it tonight with a 41-36 victory. They made history by being the first team in NFL history to make the playoffs with a losing record. No one expected them to win (except maybe their fans) but they gave it their all and got it accomplished. I would love to see my 2nd favorite team playing at my favorite team’s stadium for the Super Bowl.
It was a hell of a game for those that missed it. My throat hurts from all the screaming that I did and my husband said he is now deaf in his right ear (left ear hearing is already horrible due to explosions while in Iraq). Tomorrow I am sure that I will barely be able to talk which is sure to make my husband happy =) Just joking of course!
So now it’s off to find something hot to drink (for my throat) and then to bed. Go SEAHAWKS!!!!
Hey Bridget…….. Sounds like Jerry should have been sitting on the right side of you to protect his good ear. Hopefully he can recover from your screaming. I just ignore my wifes screaming…. But that has nothing to do with football. lol.
