Well all my blood work came in, and my Lyme disease is gone (normal). Several other tests were done to rule out autoimmune disorders. I am happy to say those also came back fine.
I however have a slight vitamin D deficiency which may be causing the fatigue, and other issues I have been having. So I will now have to take a prescription vitamin D & calcium supplement twice a day.
We are hoping that this will “cure” my symptoms. If not it will then be safe to say that there was permanent damage caused by the Lyme disease. The verdict is still out about my heart. I have had the EKG, sonogram, and the stress test comes later this week. I will not know anything until after that is done and I meet with my cardiologist again.
So this is my latest news. I am very thankful that the Lyme is gone and I no longer have to take those antibiotics. I have never been so sick in my life. And of course as soon as I get off my antibiotics, I come done with a really sore throat which I am sure is strep. Yippee for me…NOT!

I went to the VA locally here a few years ago. With concerns I may have lymes . The NP told me there was no such thing in N.C were I had been stationed…He did have the test done , but how ignorant or not informed are these NP they have employed at the VA system…Anyways thank goodness I the result came back negative. This doesn’t mean the test is full proof!

Hope you are well. The doc must have some top-secret test that no one else knows about as there is no known test that can prove you are “clear of the lyme bacteria”. Hopefully you are in remission, and are doing well
