Come on you can do it! That is what I keep telling myself anyway!
I am 5′ 9″ and at the start of my diet weighed 177 pounds. Yes I know it’s not even considered over-weight, but a couple of more pounds and it would have been. Up until the age of 29 3/4 (I wasn’t 30 just yet) I started gaining weight, slowly but surely those pounds crept up on me like a Soldier just returning home from Deployment ready to pounce on his wife. I have never ever in my life had a problem with weight gain, in fact, I had a problem gaining weight. No matter how much junk food I ate, I never gained even an ounce, until I hit 29 3/4 =)
And over the next year and a half, I put on 32 pounds. Which brings us to a month ago when I decided I just could not take it anymore. Do I want to get back down to 145? No, to me that was a tad too thin. I do want some meat on my bones. My goal weight is 155. It said that my ideal weight should be 145. That may be fine for a small framed woman but I am considered a medium frame and at 145 pounds you can start seeing my bones. But at about 155 I have just enough meat over them to hide them a little.
As of today, I weigh 167. In total, I have lost 10 pounds, 2 1/2 inches off my waist, and 2 1/2 inches from my hips. All and all I am roughly loosing around 2 – 2 1/2 pounds a week. It hasn’t been easy but I am doing it. To top it off I have fallen in love with the Chocolate Royal Slim Fast Shakes (I can’t stand any of the other ones). They really curve my chocolate cravings. I have about 12 more pounds to lose and I want it done by December 15th! I can do it!!!!!
