The first mile down has been logged. I usually hike/walk in the mornings, but couldn’t this morning so I needed to make sure that I logged at least a mile for today.
Instead of taking to the trails, I decided to walk up and around the school to complete a mile. It turns out that from my house, around the school, and back is exactly 1 mile! It is also a quick little walk that I can do any time of the day if I need to. I can also switch it up by continuing to walk around the school and then into the park area and walk around the track and then come back out. It gives just a little more mileage! Plus, the area is well lit, which makes it better than walking around the neighborhood at night.
Granted we live in a very safe neighborhood and it is more about me being seen so I won’t get hit by a car than anything else!
With all of that being said, miles are now being counted towards the goal! Please send in any miles that you run/walk/hike! Counting will end March 31st, 2015!
Sorry, no picture to post! It was too dark outside =)
How long is he supposed to be gone.
No idea the time frame varies, but deployments were knocked down to 9 months from 1 year, so I am giving a time limit of 9 months to get 1000 miles lol.
