Went on a 5k walk today near Austin with my BFF and her kiddos. It was a charity walk to defeat ALS. I had a lot of fun and am really starting to like doing 5k’s even if I do just walk them! I miss my husband though! #DeploymentsSuck
We met up with some of her other family members there. Her family has been struck by ALS on several occasions and she has lost her mother and brother to ALS.
To say ALS runs in her family, is no joke, so it was really nice being there with her today and supporting her. Plus we got to hang out and talk (while walking of course), so that is always a plus!
There were a ton of people out there!
