Every year several companies offer Active Duty, Retiree’s, and Veterans discounted or even free services/products on Veteran’s Day. This is the companies way of giving back to those who have defended (or are defending) our freedom. For those who are not veterans, please support these companies as they support our veterans.

Active Duty and Veterans can eat free on Veteran’s Day. Available during business hours on November 11, 2010 at participating Applebee’s only. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.

B&Bs and Inns are providing free rooms on Wednesday, November 10, in observance of Veterans Day, November 11, to honor servicemen and women currently serving or who have previously served their country.

COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG
“Honoring Service to America” Passes Available November 11–14, 2010. Military and their families receive free admission. From Thursday through Sunday of Veterans Day weekend, Colonial Williamsburg offers weekend-long admission passes to active-duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, and their families.
The “Honoring Service to America” pass provides admission to Colonial Williamsburg exhibition sites, art museums, and most daytime programs. It also includes free parking at the Visitor Center, access to the short movie Williamsburg—The Story of a Patriot, and complimentary use of Colonial Williamsburg shuttle buses.
Appropriate military identification is required.
The service member need not be present. Free “Honoring Service to America” passes will be provided to immediate family members of currently deployed troops with appropriate identification. Military veterans who separated before retirement can bring a copy of their honorable discharge paperwork, DD Form 214, as identification of service.

Military Appreciation Monday free “Thank You” dinner on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 from 5pm – 9pm. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited to join us for Golden Corral’s Military Appreciation Monday dinner.

Free meal on Veteran’s Day for Veterans and Active Duty Military. Must show proof of Military Service.
NATIONAL PARKS
Entrance fee is waived on Veteran’s Day for everyone. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.

We honor our heroes with a Free* Bloomin’ Onion and Beverage this Veterans Day, November 11, 2010. The FREE Bloomin’ Onion® and Beverage promotion is open to the following Military Personnel who have one of the following forms of identification on November 11, 2010: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW, Photograph in Uniform or Wearing Uniform). The FREE beverage will be customer’s choice of one non-alcoholic drink.
