This afternoon we had our TMO briefing. Everything is apparently done online now and this briefing is just a formality. We filled out paperwork that we apparently did not need to fill out since we already created an account with move.mil. In fact, turns out we didn’t even need to attend the briefing at all.
So now, I get to go back online and fill out everything (that was filled out on paper form at the office). Usually, they input everything (since this is a new system) but told us that since we already had an account, if we wanted to speed up the process a little we could input the information ourselves.
I must say that this move so far is going smoothly. I have listed stuff on craigslist that we need to get rid off, in hopes that I can forego the customary PCS yard sale. Just one less thing to deal with as moving day gets closer.
I did find out that due to the amount of crap errrr stuff we have, they need 3 days to pack and load. You mean I have to deal with people in my house for 3 freaking days? This should be fun!
