I hiked 8.33 miles today!

July 6, 2014 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 18, 20224 Comments

I am going to try and hike 7-10 miles this morning…wish me luck! I have my course mapped out (several trails I have done individually) I’ve just never hiked them in the course I have planned out, so I have no idea how long of a hike it will be, but I am hoping I will get several miles racked up!

Hiked 8.33 miles today! My 8.33 mile hike on July 6, 2014 at Dana Peak Park in Harker Heights near Fort Hood

UPDATE I Hiked 8.33 Miles:

8.33 miles were hiked this morning. I really pushed myself!!! 981.02 miles left to go to meet my goal of 1,000 by the time hubby comes home!!!! It was a long hike but it felt amazing! I love it when I switch things up on the trails; it makes the time and miles go by faster!

I wish I could hike this many miles every morning, but my obligations won’t always allow me to. When I decide to hike this far again, I think I will bring my camera and maybe even a small lunch. It is so beautiful out there, especially first thing in the morning! All the wildlife are out, the sun gives off amazing color to all the tree’s and grass.

How many miles did you log today? Comment below to let me know!
