Honeymoon Planning is worse than planning a wedding. This summer we will finally get to take our honeymoon just one month shy of our 1 year anniversary. I had no idea how stressful planning a honeymoon would be. Jerry is taking the entire month of July off for our honeymoon. My kiddos will be with their Dad during the entire month of July as well. This leaves us with an entire month of kidless fun. But where do we spend that fun?
We can go anywhere in the world for up to a month. How in the heck do we choose just one place? And where is that place? Do I just spin a globe and see where my finger lands? We have narrowed choices down to either Mexico, Hawaii, The Caribbean, Italy, Ireland, Fiji, & Greece. We did think about doing a cruise but the lack of cruises sailing out in July made us quickly scratch that idea, plus although we love kids we really want to find a resort that is adults only. And we have found several, actually a lot. This is creating a huge problem in trying to narrow down the location.
I have tried for over a month to plan this and I am completely stressed. We will agree on a location just to change our mind. We do have a list of requirements that we MUST have wherever stay. However, that only narrowed down resorts, not locations. And to top it off we will be watching TV just to have the TV throw another location suggestion to us. GRRRRR.
On Wednesday we will get our passports. Hopefully, when that is done, it will knock off some stress but I doubt it.
So how do you choose where to go when the options are almost endless? I just want to be done with honeymoon planning!
