Route 66 Passport Stamp Locations

One of my favorite things about traveling Route 66 was collecting those unique ink stamps at different stops along the way; they’re the perfect keepsake to remember each quirky roadside attraction and small-town gem. If you love filling up your logbook or souvenir Route 66 passport, this guide is for you!

I’ve rounded up all the Route 66 passport stamp locations that I could find, organized by state, so you can easily plan your next adventure and make sure you don’t miss a single stamp on the Mother Road.

Illinois

Illinois did a fantastic job of keeping Route 66 alive. In fact, it took us 10 days to get through Illinois, and we still didn’t get to see/do everything we wanted to do. We could have easily spent another week! In addition to stamps you can collect, you can also collect medallion “rubbings” from their Route 66 Wayside stations. I didn’t realize this until we had already left Illinois (guess I will be making a trip back lol). So make sure you bring a pencil, marker, ink pad, or Art Graf stick to make the impressions on your paper or in your Route 66 logbook.
