Portrait & Artwork FAQ’s

Have a question that is not answered here? Simply shoot us an email.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

What are your work hours?

Our typical “office” hours are 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm Tuesday-Thursday. However, our photography services are available 24 hours a day 365 days a year!

When will my fine artwork be ready to ship?
Usually within 3-5 days. All of my fine art is printed at a high-quality professional lab which usually takes about 48-72 hours. Once I receive it from the lab, I check it for quality control and then immediately mail it to you.

I would like to purchase a different size than listed. Is this possible?
Absolutely! Just give me a call or shoot me an email with the picture you would like and size as well as the mounting option (foam board, gallery wrap, or metal). Once I receive the information, I will send you an email with the pricing.

PORTRAIT SESSION FAQ’S

Does the session price include travel & how far will you travel?

The session price includes travel within 15 miles of Harker Heights. If you are located outside of that area and wish to have your session outside of that 15-mile radius, there will be an extra charge. Bridget is willing to travel anywhere in the world.

Do you have a contract for me to sign?

All photography services will have an agreement that you will be required to sign before the photography session. This contract will outline specific fees related to the session, print fees, cancellation, and rescheduling policy as well as our office policies.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! Hey, I know how hard times are right now and it can be hard to put a payment down all at once. We can work out a payment schedule that fits into your budget, just give us a call!

Do you ever volunteer your services for different causes?

Yes, I do! If you are with an organization that is in need of photography services, please feel free to contact me. I feel it is important to volunteer to help others, and everyone should be doing it. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of us out there. I am also a mother of 4 children and they as well play a very important role in volunteering throughout the year.

What if the service I need are not listed?

If the specific photography service you are in need of is not listed, please contact us with more information on what you are looking for. It is possible that we do offer that service or we know someone who does that we can refer you too.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Credit Cards, Check, & Money Orders.

Do you use a film or digital camera?

Bridget only uses top-of-the-line digital professional cameras. This allows for unlimited pictures to be taken, and ease of editing and applying filters to the photo’s after the session has been complete.

What is your photographic style?

Bridget’s style could best be described as fun, passionate, and memory-making. She loves taking candids and many clients will agree that they are surprised to find that they much prefer the candid photos over the posed. She is also quite formal, elegant, and professional which allows her to produce not only fun family shots but also professional headshots when needed.

How much do you charge?

There are many options to choose from so every session is different. Please see our pricing page for current pricing.

How do I make an appointment with you?

Just call! 254-239-1827 (we work by appointment only) or shoot us an email. Please make sure to have your VIP code available when contacting me.

When working on location outdoors, what happens if it rains?

Unless it is actually raining or there are very high winds we can still shoot, no problem. In the event of high winds or rain, we will reschedule at no cost to you for the next available appointment.

What should we wear?

See our SESSION TIPS Page

How many pictures do you take during a session?

We take as many pictures as needed to capture that special moment/occasion. In other words, we take an unlimited amount of pictures. Typically you will have a total of 15-20 finished images to choose from.

How quickly can I see my prints?

Proofs are available within 2 weeks of your session and prints you have chosen during the proof session will be ready anywhere from 4 days to 4 weeks after that (or whenever you order), depending on what was ordered. If you are in a rush and need your order sooner; please let us know!

How do I determine the best size portraits to hang in my home?

I am so glad you asked! Once you have a place in mind of where you want your portrait hung (such as above a sofa or fireplace), you will need to measure the space. With those measurements, we will guide you in deciding on the proper sizes for that area. Additionally, Bridget is also one of the few photographers that can take a picture of the wall you would like to have your artwork placed and easily SHOW you how different sizes and combinations will look BEFORE you order! How neat is that?

How often should we have our family photographed?

For formal photographs (such as in a studio setting) I suggest every 2-3 years until all children are grown. For more informal sessions (such as outside sessions) I suggest at least once a year. It’s so great to have the prior year’s photograph to look at to see how much your family has changed in just a short year!

I still have questions that are not listed here in the FAQ’s!

No problem! Simply send us an email!
