So that’s what my husband looks like as a girl!

January 8, 2016 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: March 1, 20225 Comments

Let me preface this by saying that if I end up dead after posting this, my husband did it.

So a couple of mornings ago I found an app called YouCam Makeup (it’s free in the iTunes store). It will add makeup and let you “try on” different hairstyles. Needless to say, I was skeptical because well I have tried other apps and they are all CRAP!

Anyway, I wanted to test the YouCam Makeup App out and since I had no pictures of me looking straight at the camera (or at least semi-straight) and I wasn’t about to take a picture of myself with my hair a hot mess and makeup smeared (because I was too lazy to take it off last night) I started scrolling through my photos to find a test subject.

When low and behold there was a picture of my husband that I took last night, because for the first time ever he shaved and left a mustache.

So I thought to myself “awe hell just use this one and see how it does, I mean it’s not like anyone will ever see it”.

I imported the picture to the YouCam Makeup app and immediately it did its magic (btw you can also manually add makeup, etc..). Immediately I started to laugh, and well I just couldn’t stop laughing. I LOVE THIS APP!

My oldest daughter apparently thinks I am a little crazy as she heard me laughing and had no idea why I couldn’t stop until I showed her. She chuckled, called me weird, and left out the door to go to school.

Needless to say, I had a little too much fun, and well I sent the picture to my husband who needless to say was very confused.

Personally, I think he makes one fugly woman; thank goodness!

While I know you were excited to see what he looks like as a woman, I just couldn’t bring myself to post the picture, so instead here is a before/after of me using the app that I took instead. It’s obviously way over the top and the lighting was horrible.

Before and after using the YouCam Makeup App to apply makeup

P.S. I didn’t get paid to talk about this app, or even asked to talk about this app. It’s literally just an app I found in the iTunes store that I thought was funny and wanted to share.

No fair! I wanted to see it. BTW, I don’t like the hairdo it put on you. You look like an old woman. :)
