What I Liked

Size: It’s the perfect size to wrap you in warmth without being extra bulky. This makes it an ideal blanket to take with you car camping, Overlanding, RVing, Motorcycling, or even when you are just sitting at your desk typing up a post for your website, freezing because you are from Texas and the temperature just dropped below 70.

Warmth: The temps here in Central Texas have been unseasonably cold with highs only reaching the 50s and lows in the 30s for over a week straight, so it was the perfect time to test out the VOITED Recycled Ripstop Outdoor Camping Blanket. I found that it did hold up to its warmth rating, helping to keep me warm while hanging out in the backyard on evenings after work.

Snaps: I love that they added snaps, allowing you to configure this to use as not only a blanket, but also a sleeping bag or cape. You can also snap it to another blanket to make it bigger or to use as a sleeping bag for two.

Machine Washable: I love that this is machine washable so I can quickly throw it in the wash if it gets soiled or smelly. Who wants something that they have to hand wash or dry clean? Not this girl!

Designs: The VOITED Recycled Ripstop Outdoor Camping Blanket comes in several designs to fit your own unique personality and decor (hey I regularly use this blanket in my house)!

Made with Recycled Material: I love that the insulation is made from recycled material. Let’s face it, any way that you can reduce and reuse material is a major plus.

Convert to a pillow: Now this is a super nice feature! I love that you can stuff this into its own pocket and create a pillow out of it! Or stuff clothes into the zippered pocket to have a blanket and a pillow all in one. It stuffs nicely into itself which gives you a surprisingly comfortable pillow.

What to Improve

This is a hard one, as I really loved this blanket, but I would like to see a zipper added alongside the snaps. This would allow not only you to wear it as a cape and join it with another one, but would also cut out any drafts that might come along.

Overall Impression

I love the VOITED Recycled Ripstop Outdoor Camping Blanket. It is so versatile. Not only is it a great blanket for the outdoors, but also just sitting around the house. It reminds me of the Army woobie blanket (for those that are familiar with those), with major upgrades and it’s so much more stylish =). The added snaps are a wonderful addition allowing you to create several configurations to suit your situation. It will keep you warm sitting around camp on those chilly nights or just cuddled up on the couch. I appreciate that they used recycled material for the filling and that it has a water and stain-resistant outer layer.

Where to Buy

You can buy the VOITED Recycled Ripstop Outdoor Camping Blanket directly from their website.
