Venturing into new horizons!

April 18, 2016 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: June 22, 2020Leave a Comment

Recently, I notified my NuttyHiker readers that I would soon turn over a new leaf in my photography career and start a new adventure.

Fine Art For Your Walls!

I am going back to my roots and will now primarily be a fine art landscape and wildlife photographer that offers affordable gallery style prints to decorate your home with!

Portrait Work

With that, I am limiting the amount of portrait work I will do from now on. Portrait work will be limited to clients (past and present) family, friends, and referrals. In other words, if you are not already in one of those categories you MUST be referred to me by someone who is either a client, family, or friend.

Additionally, I will only take on a max of 20 sessions per year, which means if you want portraits, you need to make sure to schedule them well in advance.

For those that cannot get a referral code and still would like portraits, I will offer 1-2 days a year that I will open up to the general public. Please subscribe to my newsletter so you are kept informed of when those days will be!

What’s New

Well as I said, I will now offer fine art prints for your home. There will be several categories to choose from as well as several types of medium (matted print for framing, canvas, metal, gallery wraps, etc…)

You can shop online through the Shop Section of my site, or catch me out at local craft and art fairs through the Central Texas Area.

Why the Change?

While I like taking portraits of people I LOVE taking landscape and wildlife portraits more. I had become burned out with human portraits and no longer loved what I did.

You can read the entire reason behind my decision and how I made that decision here.

How do I get my VIP Code?

If you need a VIP code to give out to those that you refer, just shoot me an email and I will get one sent right over to you!
