Went hiking with one of my BFF’s today (Teresa). We haven’t hiked together in a very long time (in over a year). It was nice being back out on the trails with her.
The trails were muddy and I really think it was due to the flooding we had a couple of months or so ago. Anyway, we came to an area on the trail that typically just has a board laying across it. It’s a low-lying area and typically stays muddy.
Anyway the board, covered in mud, was still there; actually buried is more like it. In its place were two logs; they were a tad slippery. I went first and then waited for Teresa who I was sure was going to bust her butt and fall of the logs; so I pulled out my phone to record the endeavor (because that’s the kind of “friend” I am lol).
Because I’m the kind of friend that hopes you fall on your ass so I can laugh (not get hurt of course). Instead of helping you cross the logs I’m going to video tape it instead :) love you Teresa :) P.S she failed to entertain me and made it across just fine! Lol.

She made it over the logs just fine as you can tell from the video. We continued to hike on, all the while I though every freaking twig was a snake. Teresa hates snakes just as much as I do, so she just kept asking “it’s too cold for snakes right? They won’t be out right?” My answer was yes (sometimes I have to lie to myself).
We made it up to the gnome. He was sporting an orange hunters beanie today! Way to cute if you ask me. The rest of our hike was uneventful; we only did 2.5 miles since it’s been a while for both of us since we have hiked. Plus I needed to get to work =)
