Sturgis 2024: Our Route & Stops

Here is a list with a map for anyone interested in seeing how I planned our Sturgis 2024 route and what rides and stops we did while there.

Sturgis 2024 Trip on Roadtrippers

We did deviate coming back as we ended up buying a pull behind motorcycle trailer while we were in Sturgis. Due to this, we felt it was best to take the interstate back home instead of riding through a lot of back roads that may not have services if needed.

Our Itinerary

Day 1 – 5: Riding to Rapid City from Central Texas

Day 6: Sturgis, Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood

Day 7: Badlands National Park

Day 8: Iron Mountain Road & Needles Highway

Day 9: Chapel in the Hills & Sturgis (for people watching)

Day 10: Iron Mountain Road, Custer, and Needles Highway

Day 11: Custer State Park Loop & Hot Springs

Day 12: Devil’s Tower

Day 13: Sturgis & Full Throttle Saloon

Day 14: Vanocker Canyon & Spearfish Canyon

Day 15-17: The Ride Home
