Sorry I have been MIA

September 24, 2014 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 18, 20224 Comments

Sorry, I have been quiet lately or maybe I should say sorry I have been MIA. I have been dealing with some health issues (no worries, I am determined to meet my goal). I have had some stomach issues that I thought at first was maybe a stomach bug, but then it would start back up again after a couple of days. It is weird because the vomiting seems to always happen at 3 am in the morning. I have had this happen in the past and the doctors pretty much blew me off. I may try again to see a doctor if it keeps happening!

Anyway, today was the first day I went hiking in 10 days!

It felt great to be back on the trails even if I was only able to do roughly 2 miles. However, I did do another 2.5ish miles this evening, so I was able to get in 4.73 miles today! Pretty darn good considering I have been feeling like death!

Huge thanks to Tammy for going with me this morning, hiking is always better with a friend! Don’t forget to send in your miles! I am behind on the logs, but will be catching them up over the next several days!
