Pinhoti Trail Day 20
It was a wet night and morning. Thankfully, we only had about 3ish miles to do.

We decided to stay at Green Hippies Hostel for a couple of days so we could slackpack and hopefully rack up some more miles.
The trail today was really nice despite the rain.

We slackpacked today, which was really nice, and we also hit the 100-mile mark!!!!
We ran into several waterfalls today, which was a really nice change of scenery.

The trail itself was super nice and cruisy, even though we were on the narrow ridgeline for a lot of it. The narrow ridgeline is terrible in itself, but it is also at a slant. Needless to say, it is hard on the ankles!
The most exciting milestone (besides the 100-mile mark) was walking over I-20. It was neat because I have passed under this overpass several times and always say the Pinhoti Trail sign on it. It was awesome to now be on top, looking down at all the cars as they go by.
We got picked up around mile 111 and headed back to the Green Hippies Hostel. Tomorrow, we will leave and head into Heflin.
