PCS Unauthorized Items

The following items are considered unauthorized and cannot be shipped or stored at government expense. Make sure they are removed prior to carriers arrival.

Autos/Trucks/Vans & similar Motor Vehicles (unless it is an OCONUS move)
Flammable, combustibles/explosives (see below for partial list)
Personal baggage when carried free on tickets
Gliders
Utility & Storage Sheds of any type, unless disassembled by the owner
Building Materials (such as lumber, bricks, etc…)
Firearms (dependant on destination requirements)
Lighter Fluid / Flints
Live Animals
Plants, Fresh Fruits, Flowers
Perishable Food / Items
Articles of household goods acquired subsequent to effective date of PCS orders
Aerosol Cans
Rags soaked in corrosive/flammable substances
Irreplaceable items of greater sentimental value than monetary purposes (due to claim purposes)
Articles that are intended for someone other than the immediate family
Articles that may contaminate / damage carrier equipment or other items in shipment
Propane / Gas tanks
Ammunition
Tax-Free Cigarettes
Drugs
Alcoholic Beverages
Articles for immediate resale or for commercial use, rather than for use by member and his/her dependents
