If you are ever out in Lampasas, Texas you should really stop by and check out the Lampasas Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden, which is located at 501 E. North Ave., Lampasas, TX.
I discovered this little gem one day when I talked my husband into driving me around, so I could “explore”.
I love odd and unique things, so you can imagine my excitement when I stumbled across all these wonderful and beautiful man-made creations. The garden is free to browse around in. Seriously, just park along the road and start walking! I am not even sure that it actually “closes” at night either! I may need to take a trip out there to see if they are all lit up at night.
My favorite sculpture other than the old Chevy truck with giant catfish is the bird “Old Glory” made out of old tools, car parts, and gun parts. The artist Terry Jones has some major talent!
I spent about an hour there before my husband literally had to drag me away! So if you are ever out that way, make sure to stop and check it out!
Parking is free as well as touring the sculptures.
