So just like Christmas, we also do Halloween up big too every year. Granted it doesn’t take us as long to set up for Halloween as it does Christmas, but it’s still a pretty long task. Our Halloween 2015 night of screams was a success this year!

The theme is pretty much the same every year “Friday the 13th”. My husband even went as far as buying a theatrical mask for “Jason”. Jason haunts the graveyard/campground every year and for the 2nd year since we have been here, also brought out more than 1,000 kids (yes we kept track just to see how many kids visited us).
Last year “Jason” was deployed so we didn’t get to set up, and this year we had so much bad weather leading up to Halloween (you know it’s bad when you need an actual boat to navigate down I-35 because it was closed due to being under water), that we literally only had the day to put everything together.
To make matters worse, “Jason” was in the field for training so that left me and the kids to set most of it up. Despite 2 foggers taking a dump and one strobe light, we still managed to pull it off.
This year we had a new addition, “Jason Junior”. He did such a great job shadowing “Jason”.
If you stopped by and had your picture taken (or took pics) we would love to see them. Leave a link to them in the comments section below =)
