Going to spend the year pulling out my hair!

January 2, 2013 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 17, 2022Leave a Comment

I am going to spend the year pulling out my hair! OK, well I hope I don’t pull out my hair, but I just realized how extremely busy we will be this year.

Why? Well for starters we received PCS orders with a report date at the end of the summer. This will most likely be our last PCS as retirement is quickly approaching. In light of this fact we have decided to buy a house at our new duty station (which we requested).

Now on top of looking for a house to buy and making the trip to Texas to actually look at houses, my husband will be attending Fire 1 (he is a volunteer fire fighter, who will be making a career out of it after the military) starting at the end of this month AND before we move he will hopefully of completed his bachelors in Criminal Justice.

Now as soon as we get to Texas, he plans on starting his Masters for Fire Science and I hopefully will start law school (currently I have degree’s in legal studies and criminal justice). In additional to all of this I am a full time professional photographer, mom to 4 kiddos, and of course I run several military related websites as well as write for Examiner.com as their Military Marriage Examiner.

So here’s to hoping that I am not bald by the end of 2013. After all, my new years resolution is to eat healthy and start working out daily, so maybe that will help ease the stress of it all. And no worries, I will be blogging regularly about the grand adventure(s) we will be embarking upon!
