CBCFR Mini Session Fundraiser

June 4, 2015 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: March 1, 2022

Help support those that support you and sign up for a mini session!

RESERVE YOUR TIME SLOT BY FILLING OUT THE FORM BELOW

If you have been around my business long, you know I NEVER give high-resolution images and print releases away with a session fee. I also rarely do mini sessions (unless it’s for a great cause such as this).

For a minimum of a $30 donation (you can donate more if you would like) that will go directly to the fire station you are getting services and products valued at around $400!!! This is how serious I am about helping these volunteer firefighters out!

These are limited edition sessions with limited spots! I suggest booking right away! If you can’t commit right now, I suggest signing up for the waiting list (more about that below). No money is due until you show up for your session.

CBCFR Mini Session Details

Dates: June 13 & 14, 2015
Time: 9am – 6pm
Where: 100 N. Main Street, Nolanville (CBCFR Fire Station)
Price: Minimum $30 donation
Who: You and/or your family of course!
Photographer: That would be yours truly
Why: This is a volunteer fire department that is in need of equipment and an engine to replace what was lost during the April 17th wreck when a truck swerved into their lane, causing the engine to roll several times. Most of the members are either active duty soldiers, retired military, or veterans. Unlike a lot of volunteer fire departments, they pull shifts at this department. Every 3 days they are on shift. During the weekdays the shift starts at 6pm and ends around 4am to they can make it to PT. On weekends it is a 24 hour shift! The men and women at this department really give it their all with nothing expected in return. This is my way of giving back to our community and helping them out!

ABOUT CENTRAL BELL COUNTY FIRE & RESCUE

CBCFR is an all-volunteer Fire Department located in the city of Nolanville. They are also the only volunteer fire department in the area that has a 24-hour manned station which allows their response time to be cut down drastically. Most of their members are active duty military, retired military, or veterans. They not only protect the city of Nolanville but also the county areas surrounding Nolanville. Their entire coverage area encompasses approximately 20 square miles, 4 of those which are in Nolanville and 16 which are county areas.

ABOUT THE SESSION

Sessions are scheduled in 15-minute increments, although they typically last for around 10 minutes. During that 10 minutes, I am able to get several poses for you to choose from. With your donation, you get 1 digital image both in high resolution (for printing) and low resolution of the same image (for sharing on social media) with print release ($195 value for this alone). Your image will come with a print release. Additionally, you will also get a 50% off coupon to use on a full session fee at any time for the remainder of 2015 (that is an $85 value just by itself)! If that wasn’t enough, you also get to view your images that day, immediately following your session and will have the ability to order additional prints /products if you wish and choose the image you would like as your digital copy.

There’s more! You also get to meet the firefighters and climb inside the fire engines (assuming they aren’t on a call). So make sure to bring your camera to take pictures next to the trucks!

HOW TO BOOK YOUR TIME SLOT FOR THE CBCFR MINI SESSION FUNDRAISER

All that I require for you to book, is for you to fill out the form located below to reserve your spot. Simple as that!

WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW WHAT DAY/TIME WILL BE GOOD UNTIL THE DAY OF?

No problem, just fill out the form below and choose waitlist to be put on the waiting list. We will email you the day before of any open time slots that may be left. We will also accept walk-in appointments on both days as well. If you would rather be a walk-in, all that is needed is for you to show up the day you choose between the hours of 9am-6pm. Just be advised our scheduled appointments go first, so you may have to wait for just a little bit. No worries though! That gives you extra time to look around the station and at the engines and meet with the firefighters! Hey, who doesn’t love hanging out with firefighters!? If you would rather do walk-in we would still greatly appreciate you filling out the waitlist form, so we have an idea of who to expect and how many.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER SUCKS?

In the event that mother nature rains on our parade (or there is high wind) we will move the session indoors to the bay. I will have a backdrop and studio lighting set up and ready for you!

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED IN ONE CBCFR MINI SESSION?

Due to the limited amount of time, only 6 individuals will be allowed in a booked time slot. If you have more individuals than that in your group, you will need to book an additional time slot. Each time slot is a $30 minimum donation.

IF THE FORM BELOW IS NOT WORKING, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE AT 254-239-1827 OR YOU MAY CALL THE FIRE STATION AT 254-698-6891 OR STOP BY THE STATION AT 100 N. MAIN STREET IN NOLANVILLE TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT.
