SMARTFOOD Select Chips & Puffed Corn Review

October 15, 2012 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 19, 2022Leave a Comment

Most of you know that I am a BzzAgent and receive products to try out for free. My newest box of goodies I received in the mail was the all-natural Smartfood Selects chips and puffed corn. I was delighted to get my box of goodies because I am currently on a major health kick and am always looking for healthy snacks because I LOVE food and I am a former smoker.

My Thoughts on the Smartfood Select Chips & Popcorn

The first item I ripped open to try out was the Garlic Tomato Basil Hummus Chips. I loved the crunch and the flavor of these chips, although the flavor was a little too subtle for my liking. I also loved that one bag was only 100 calories!

The next bag I decided to try was the Feta Herb Hummus Chips, again, I loved the crunch and the flavor, although I do wish the flavor was a tad bolder.

The last thing to try was the Sour Cream Onion Puffed Corn. I was not impressed with this bag. The flavor at first was dead on, but then it quickly turned into what tasted like cardboard. I had my husband try it and he said the same thing.

We will definitely purchase the chips in the future, but think we will leave the “popcorn” variety on the shelf. I look forward to trying the rest of the flavors of the chips!
