Fathead Graphics – Product Review & Giveaway

July 30, 2012 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: May 17, 20229 Comments

Fathead Wall Graphics - ArmyI was ecstatic to get a request to review wall graphics from Fathead. What are Fathead wall graphics you ask? Well, let me enlighten you!

Fathead LLC is the Real.Big. brand of officially licensed sports and entertainment graphic products. Fathead gives fans the opportunity to bring their favorite passion or inspiration to life. Fathead wall graphics include the flagship “Real.Big.” the life-size, high definition wall graphics of professional athletes, animated heroes, entertainment characters, team helmets, stadiums, and logos. Fathead products also feature Fathead Street Grips and Fathead Customs, available in Mounted Canvas and patented Vinyl with a choice of classic Fathead die-cut or mural style.

Fathead recently launched Art and Décor graphics comprised of contemporary, photographic and fine art by SM/ART.  Fathead Corporate Solutions provides unique signage and décor alternatives for companies seeking flexible and creative marketing solutions by utilizing Fathead innovation to create any shape, size or design for visually stimulating, high impact results.  Fathead is manufactured in the USA and based in Detroit, Michigan.

Fathead carries thousands of images and maintains over 500 license agreements with leading consumer brands across many industries and professional sports leagues.   For more information, visit their website. Connect with Fathead on facebook and twitter.

Check out some of their Military theme Fathead’s:

Here is why I am excited.

Other than the fact they have a ton of graphics to choose from, ranging from sports to military & patriotic graphics, you can also send in a picture to have your own custom Fathead made. Think about this, your spouse is getting ready to deploy.

You have small children that you know are going to miss mommy or daddy. Why not send in a picture of your military loved one and have a graphic made? Put the graphic up in your child’s room so they will have a constant, almost larger than life image of daddy or mommy to wake up to every morning and say goodnight to every night.

And on that note, Fathead is holding a “Salute to the Service Sweepstakes”, which is a monthly sweepstakes that is open only to active service members and members of their immediate family. Each month, five families will win a free custom Fathead, beginning now through October 31, 2012. So make sure you enter!

I must say that I honestly love the idea of these large wall graphics. I had the opportunity to sample the U.S. Army Logo Fathead. The smaller ones were rather easy to put up; although, for the larger ones, you will want to have another person to help you (or as I found out, maybe 3 or 4 as they are VERY large). For the larger one I received, I had some issues, as it stuck to itself upon peeling it off the sheet.

However, Fathead knows that sometimes the process doesn’t always go according to plan, and if this should happen to you, they will gladly and quickly replace it for you. All it takes is calling their customer service team (who, by the way, is in Detroit not in India), explaining the situation, and sending them a picture of the damaged Fathead.

Also another quick note, save the sheet the Fathead comes on for when it’s time to PCS. It will make moving them a lot easier, so you can enjoy them for many years and PCS moves! The recommended way to transport a Fathead per the company, especially while moving, is to, “save the roll it comes on and place it on that sheet, roll back up and go.

The easiest way to do this is to expose of the extra graphic material once the Fathead and all ancillaries have been removed, that way you don’t have to fuss with fitting it in the exact cut-out space”.

Bottom line? Fathead is an American company with an American made product with its company headquarters AND customer service center right here in the United States, that produces what I would call 100% premium products at affordable prices. Oh, and did I mention, awesome customer service? How often do you find all of that rolled into one company nowadays?
