I was given the chance to review 60 Days of Happiness by Randy Alcorn for free from the publisher and while I did find the format odd and not exactly what I expected I still enjoyed the book and found it enlightening. He explains why it is ok to be happy as a Christian and that being happy does not make you unholy.
I will say this book appears to be a companion book to Happiness by Mr. Alcorn that I have not read and found that is probably the main reason why the format seems odd and to jump around a bit.
Each new chapter (day) begins with a question about happiness, scripture passage, quote, his thoughts and stories, followed by a prayer. I love the way the chapters (days) are laid out and how they are kept short and sweet. The only complaint I have is I feel the title is a little misleading to what the book is actually about.
