Camosock Military Theme Christmas Stockings

November 9, 2011 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 19, 2022Leave a Comment

For the second year in a row, I have had the pleasure of giving away several CAMOSOCK’s.

Currently, I am giving away the Marine Corps Christmas Stocking on the Facebook Page. Keep an eye out on the blog as we will be giving away one of the other branches soon.

Camosock - Military Theme Christmas Stockings

These are high-quality Christmas Stockings! The craftsmanship and quality of the fabric are beyond superb. Every Military family should own at least one! To the photographers out there, they make good Christmas props as well. They really are multi-purpose and are very durable.

Also, I would like to add that they are bigger than your normal Christmas stockings that you find in stores. Even better is the fact that CAMOSOCK’s are 100% Made in the USA. Now if only I could talk him into making a pink camo one that says Military Wife. I will just add a big HINT HINT here for when he reads this.

Bob also offers CAMOSOCK’s at wholesale prices for organizations and groups who use CAMOSOCK’s for a troop support activity, such as fundraising, sending packages to troops, etc… For more information about this program, please contact Bob at 301-704-8544.

About Camosock

Robert “Bob” Gilead, the owner of CAMOSOCK, is an Army Brat and Marine Corps Veteran who joined the Marine Corps in 1963 and was honorably discharged at the age of 21 in 1967. Bob and his wife Terry have five children, two of who joined the Military as well. His youngest son, Keith, served in the Navy. Elizabeth, his youngest daughter, joined the Marine Corps in 2004 and is currently stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station K-Bay, Hawaii.

The CAMOSOCK was born in 2004, which was the first year his daughter Elizabeth was stationed in Okinawa, and also the first Christmas in which she was away from home. The first stocking was made as a special gift for her from a Marine Corps uniform shirt he purchased from a surplus store. In 2005 Bob formed TERK Designs and filed for a Design Patent for the unique stocking he had designed. All stockings are made from the “digital camouflage” fabric unique to each service branch and are designed to be a true keepsake.
