Guinness World Records in San Antonio Texas

December 27, 2016 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 24, 2022Leave a Comment

While we were in San Antonio this past Christmas, we decided to do all the “touristy” attractions in the are around the Riverwalk. Granted if you have ever been in a Guinness World Records, you’ve pretty much seen them all. But, we had the kids and they had never been in one; plus it was part of a combo ticket deal!

Before you begin your tour there is a DIY Photo Booth Green Screen where you can take a souvenir picture. Got to love how everyone looks out of focus lol!

You actually learn a lot from visiting, granted most of it is useless knowledge but still fun nonetheless!

In addition to displays, there are several hands on, try it yourself items which the kids loved!

We all gave the “loudest scream” a try. They thought for sure Mom could beat it, although I am not sure why?! Just FYI, I didn’t even get close. Here’s my son giving it a try:

We actually went through it twice since our ticket was good for 2 days. We bought the 6 attraction combo ticket. I am not sure if it was a one time deal or if they offer it year-round so if you plan on visiting the other attractions you may want to ask!

Our Thoughts

Obviously, it is neat if you have never been to one. However, if you have already been to one I would suggest skipping it and doing something else that you can only find to visit in San Antonio, like visiting one of the missions. I mean, that is the point of vacations and trips!
