They are home! I am so happy to say that Maintenance Troop 3cr RSS is home from deployment! This means my husband is home!!!! Man what a short deployment. I obviously didn’t meet my 1000 mile goal by the time they all came home simply because it turned out to not be a 9 month deployment.
However, I still plan on hiking and trying to meet that 1000 mile goal in 9 months. I haven’t hiked at all this month (due to being busy getting ready for his arrival home) and have a lot of miles to catch up on. I have started having health issues, so I hope it won’t delay my hiking for too long!

Just in time for Thanksgiving too! I will be holding a HUGE Thanksgiving feast at our house for all those that can’t make it back home for Thanksgiving on such short notice! Then we will make a mad dash to put up all the Christmas Lights so they are ready to be turned on December 1st!
For our family and friends that weren’t able to be at the welcome home ceremony, don’t worry it was recorded. Be prepared to shed some happy tears while watching!
