I was super excited when Bluetti reached out to me to review one of their power stations. Especially since I was headed out on a camping trip soon and would be testing out an electric cooler. Today I will be reviewing their Bluetti EB3A Power Station.

Testing Conditions
We tested the Bluetti EB3A power station while on a camping trip in the New Mexico Mountains. Elevation was roughly 7,000 ft and temperatures ranged from 50-85 degrees.
We fully charged it before leaving via an AC outlet and then recharged it while camping with a 100-watt solar panel.
What I Liked
Easy to move around: At 10 pounds, the Bluetti EB3A power station is easy to move around and small enough that it doesn’t take up much space.
Multiple Outputs: Having multiple outputs allows you to recharge a large variety of items.
Multiple Inputs: No matter where you find yourself or the situation you’re in, I bet you won’t have trouble finding a way to recharge it. With six different ways to recharge, we found it easy to recharge via a standard home outlet, with a solar panel, and car battery.
Quick Recharge Time: Using a 100-watt solar panel we were able to have it recharged from 0% to 100% in the four hours we were gone for the day. My guess is it charged quicker, but we weren’t there to notice. We were also under partial tree cover. Bluetti claims 1.8-2.0 Hours (with prime sunshine, ideal orientation, and low temperature) using a 200-watt solar panel. This falls in line with our test.
Hours /Battery Remaining: A really cool feature was seeing how much battery was left, but the estimated hours left based on the usage it is currently outputting.
Easy Carry Handle: The handle is a nice feature, allowing you to just grab and go.
What to Improve
This is a hard one, as the Bluetti worked and performed very well. If anything, I would get rid of the flashlight feature. While it would be useful in a grid-down situation, my guess is you would probably have a flashlight in hand when retrieving this from where you stored it.
Overall Impression of the Bluetti EB3A
Overall I really like the Bluetti EB3A power station. It performs flawlessly and has some really nice features. It was able to power our electric cooler for roughly six hours before we needed to recharge it and we were able to recharge the Bluetti with a 100-watt solar panel in roughly four hours.
While I probably wouldn’t use this again for the cooler since I’d prefer not to have the cooler without power for four hours, it would definitely work great to power cell phones, laptops, and other electronics while on a multi-day camping trip or in the event of a power outage.
The digital display is easy to read and gives a wealth of information about the status of the battery without the need to guess. The free App is also nice for checking on the battery while in the tent or in a different room.
Overall, I would recommend!
