Hiking Gangster Style

October 27, 2014 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 18, 202211 Comments

Gangster Halloween Hiking Day 1, Fort Hood Texas, Dana Peak ParkIt’s the beginning of Halloween week. I love this time of year, but even more so now that my husband is deployed. Hmmm that came out the wrong way! My husband’s favorite holiday is Halloween and with him being deployed I feel like I should “over celebrate” it, to honor him. Yea that sounds better =)!

So in honor of my husband as well as the rest of 3d CR RSS that are deployed right now, I will hike every day this week in a different costume and of course I am still logging miles for Miles For 3CR RSS Soldiers.

Today I am hiking gangster style! I recruited my friend Tammy to also hike with me (dressed up of course). She is such a good sport! She says I am crazy, yet she is the one that hangs out with me and dressed up as well. So who is really the crazy one here? LOL.

Halloween Hiking Day 1, dressed up in gangster costume, hiking Dana Peak Park Texas near Fort Hood

If you are around the Fort Hood area and want to dress up and hike with me this week, just let me know. I will only do short hikes this week (2 miles) because, well lets face it, the costumes aren’t all that comfortable!

What will I be tomorrow? Guess you will just have to wait and see! Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog by entering your email below (at the end of the page).
