3CR Shirts are in at the museum

September 16, 2014 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 18, 202221 Comments

I received a call today from the 3d US Cavalry Association Gift Shop, letting me know that the t-shirts with the 3CR bug on them are in for anyone wanting one to wear one when they rack up miles.

I bought five of them. They have both Black and Gray and are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm.

Army 3CR Shirts

Out of town ordering

If you are out of town and want to order one, all you need to do is call them at 254-532-9323, just tell him you want one of the hiking shirts Bridget wears, he’ll know what you’re talking about. The online store is currently being worked on and is out of date, so do not place your order there, it will just delay your order.

Directions to the gift shop

Directions from 190: take Fort Hood street north. Take a left at on Tank Destroyer (Rancier). Go through the gate. Take a right on 27th Street. 27th street will literally run into the parking lot for Headquarters Division West. This is where you will park. The museum is to the left of the parking lot (where all the tanks are). The gift shop is in building 418 (I think). It has a vinyl banner that says Gift Shop on the outside.

While you are there don’t forget to visit the museum (it’s free). Make sure to go to both buildings to see all the history. And keep logging those miles!

The address if you’re going to stop by is 9001 Battalion Ave. Bldg. 418 on Fort Hood. I know he will be in there tomorrow from 10-4 I think is what he said. The museum is open 7 days a week (if I remember correctly) but the gift shop is only open certain days. I will verify times tomorrow.

I had them order the gray ones with the 3CR Bug on them. I wanted gray to go with the PT shirt theme lol. I could of got black, but all I could think was the sun beating down on it and everyone burning up! LOL. Let me see if I can find the pic of the kids version of it. Mikie, I will call you from up there tomorrow. Did you still want the 3CR charms too? I need you to make me a bracelet =)

Yes, get what you want and I’ll make you a bracelet. I will probably have you get me more after I see them, so I can make bracelets for my shop inventory.

Veronica there will be! He ordered gray and black. He also has one 1 beanie left, it’s not sitting out so you will have to ask for it. He’s open from 10-4 tomorrow. I’m about to post pics.

They have medium, large and XL. If you need smaller I think they still have a couple of kids XL which is equivalent to like an adult small :) for anyone needing a bigger size they do have other shirts in there that are very similar to this and they have like 2xl in those.
