Back to work, cheerleading hell, and I have gone insane

August 12, 2010 by Nutty Hiker Last Modified: February 25, 20221 Comment

Back to work, cheerleading hell, and I have gone insane that sums it up!

Well this week officially marked myself as being back at work. Thankfully I only have to answer to myself, which I think is worse. I graduated College last weekend. It only took me forever to get there (thank you Military for moving us around, lol). My youngest daughter Harlee started cheerleading last week, so what I like to call “cheerleading hell” has officially begun.

Right now practice is only 3 nights a week from 6 pm – 8 pm (really wishing they could have made it from say 4 pm – 6 pm so I could still cook those nights. However, come the last week of August practice runs anywhere from 4-5 nights a week, with a game on Saturday and Competitions on Sundays. So there will be weeks that we are literally eating out every day because of cheerleading. When there are competitions there will be practice 5 nights a week along with the Friday game. When it’s only a Friday game there will be 4 nights a week of practice! Are you tired yet? Because I am.

Now if that wasn’t enough to make myself go insane, I have also enrolled in college (yet again) to get my paralegal degree. I just finished my Criminal Justice degree. Thankfully though, a lot of my credits transfer over and I should get my degree in less than a year.

Go ahead and save me a room in insaneville, because I will be there shortly!
