What do me, nature, and a deer leg have in common? We were all at Dana Peak Park! Wow!
After work today I went hiking. I wasn’t sure how far I was going to hike because I was tired. I typically like hiking first thing in the morning, but haven’t been able to lately, but I knew I needed to get back on the trails.
As I was getting ready to take my usual “before hike selfie” to post, I looked down and at my feet was a deer leg; well part of one. It was relatively fresh and I thought to myself, “wow, wonder where the other legs are.”
As I turned to look for a better place to stand, I noticed another leg. Again it was only a partial deer leg. I only found two deer legs that day. Your guess is as good as mine as to where the other 2 legs are or even the rest of the deer is (I can only assume in some creatures belly).
The thing that baffled me the most was the legs looked amputated; meaning it looked like they had been cut off.
The things I encounter while I hike!
