More than 750 museums in all 50 states including the District of Columbia are offering free admission to Military and their Dependants. These museums are part of Operation Appreciation: Blue Star Museums. This program allows active duty military (including activated guard and reserve) and up to five (5) of their immediate family members (spouse and children) free admission into the participating museums Memorial Day May 31, 2010 through Labor Day September 6, 2010.
Best of all there is no limit to the museums in which you may visit. Also, the active duty military member need not be present to enjoy this benefit. If your loved one is deployed, you can still gain free access to these museums by showing your Dependant ID card.
