The Joanne Holbrook Patton Military Scholarship is open to spouses of all Uniformed Services members including active duty, National Guard and Reserve, retirees, and survivors.
The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, and school room and board for:
In-class or on-line
Full-time or part-time
Additionaly, spouses are also eligible for funding, typically $1,000, to build their own businesses which includes:
and other for-profit ventures.
The National Military Family Association is currently accepting applications for the scholarship until January 15, 2017. A valid Military ID is all that is needed to apply. You will be required to answer some questions in both short answer and essay format, which is used for the selection process.
